Bottled in 2023, this 700ml bottle boasts an ABV of 46%, delivering notes of tropical fruits, sweet honey, and spicy molasses. Wolfburn's Small Batch releases are crafted in limited quantities and are designed to showcase a different side of the distillery. Batch 177 has been crafted from a combination of spirit matured for eight years in first-fill ex-Bourbon hogsheads, married with spirit matured for seven years in first-fill Caribbean rum barrels. The flavors have married beautifully here, with the Bourbon maturation bringing a unique sweetness combined with a sweet, silky depth from the rum casks.
