Wolfburn Distillery and Carnegie Whisky Cellars have collaborated to release a limited edition bottling of Wolfburn Lest We Forget to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. A total of 1918 bottles were produced, with £5 from each bottle sold being donated to Poppyscotland. This lightly peated single malt whisky is bottled at 46% ABV and features a small portion of the whisky drawn from sherry casks, resulting in a delightful mix of sweet aromas and smoky flavors. The project is particularly meaningful to both companies, as the owners of Wolfburn are former British servicemen, and the Poppy Appeal is important to all service personnel and their families.
