This distinguished whisky, bottled at 40 years old, stands as the oldest official bottling from the Talisker distillery, with a limited release of only 2,000 bottles—400 of which were made available for the UK market. This release marks the inaugural entry in Talisker's Bodega Series, a tribute to the distillery's historic connections with sherry houses since its founding in 1830. Aged in refill American Oak barrels and finished in Delgado Zuleta Sherry casks that once nurtured 40-year-old Amontillado Sherry, this exceptional malt boasts a unique complexity. These finishing casks were sourced from the renowned 'Sherry Triangle,' maintaining Talisker's tradition of excellence.
