The Macallan Genesis is presented in a beautiful gift box featuring a signed lithographic print of the new distillery, signed by lead architect Graham Stirk. The print is produced on high-quality archival cotton paper from the Magnani paper mill in Italy, using one of the only two map printing presses remaining in the UK. This ensures the print will never degrade, lasting as long as an unopened bottle.
The whisky itself is rich and complex, with a rich amber color. Bottled at 45.5% ABV, the nose offers subtle notes of sweet dried fruits and oak, while the palate brings more intense dried fruits with subtle spices, ginger, and chocolate. The finish is sweet but drying.
This limited edition not only celebrates the creation of the iconic new distillery but also supports a good cause. Proceeds from the sale of one bottle will go towards the ongoing cancer treatment of the seller's brother.
