The Macallan Concept Number 2 is the second release in the Concept Series, a limited edition collection that fuses The Macallan's passion for whisky making with innovative art, music, and culture. This series, created exclusively for Global Travel Retail, brings together two of the passions of The Macallan Whisky Maker, Steven Bremner - whisky and music. Bremner, who is also an avid house music DJ, has combined his interests in this expression, creating a whisky that was matured first in sherry-seasoned American oak casks and then for an equal time in ex-bourbon casks.
This no-age-statement single malt is the second of three whiskies that will comprise the Concept Series. It is a creation by Steven Bremner, who has built layers of flavor in this whisky, just as one would build tracks in music.
