The chosen cask is a first fill Oloroso sherry butt, number 376 from the year 2008. Unlike most casks, which are reduced to 63.5% ABV, this one was filled at a natural strength of 67.3%. After 10 years of maturation, the whisky retains a high strength of 64.1% ABV, making it one of the strongest expressions ever released by Glenfarclas. This exclusive bottling is a testament to Archie Jackson's dedication and the unique, robust flavor profile of Glenfarclas whisky. With a total of just 656 bottles available, this edition is a rare and prized addition to any collection. The whisky presents a dark copper hue with an orange shine, indicating its rich and full-bodied character.
