The Dalmore 2000 - 2018 Millennium Release is an exclusive series of single malt whiskies available only to Dalmore Custodians, a select group of dedicated fans of the distillery. This series includes three unique bottlings, released in the years 2012, 2015, and 2018, with each bottling limited to just 421 bottles. The first bottling, named the Dalmore 1263 Custodian Bottling, was matured in American ex-bourbon wood and then carefully transferred into a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask before being bottled in 2012. The second bottling in the series, the Dalmore 2015 Custodian Bottling, enjoyed maturation in a 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry butt from Gonzalez Byass. Finally, the third bottling, also a Dalmore 1263 Custodian Bottling, was initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. Dalmore distillery, known for its prestigious single malt whiskies, has been under the expert guidance of Master Blender Richard Paterson for many decades.
