A good and very specific bourbon, which at one point reminded me of delicate notes of rubber from the soles of sports shoes, typical for me for Bowmore. Alcohol completely imperceptible with bitter chocolate at the end. Nose: intense, leathery, freshly taken out of the oven rye bread, young oak, a bit of vanilla and plum jam. Taste: oak, dusty wardrobe, caramel, slightly spicy, burnt sugar, herbal syrup, chocolate marshmallow. Finish: long, quite sweet, pipe tobacco, suede leather, oak, warming finish with a hint of rye crust of fresh bread, astringent on the tongue with bitter chocolate in the last phase.
