Today I dared to drink this whisky straight, and it was amazing. The nose reveals a blend of pear, sherry, leather, and a slightly fruity note with a touch of alcohol leaning towards glue. The taste is dominated by sherry, dark fruits, oranges, and some honey, although the alcohol integration could be better. The medium-long finish has spicy notes, a lot of sherry, and hints of vanilla and honey. Overall, it's a well-crafted whisky that, while not perfect, offers a rich and satisfying experience.
