Thanks to Karloff for the sample, I've been curious about this for a while. The aroma is intriguingly complex with notes of red and yellow fruit, varnished wood, caramel, honey, spice, and a hint of citrus. However, the complexity of the nose doesn't fully carry through to the taste, which presents as a lightly spicy caramel liqueur. The finish does pick up slightly with some sweet fruity notes. Overall, it's a pleasant bourbon but may leave some wanting more based on the initial nose.
