The mash, composed of molasses, sugar cane juice, and crushed cane stalks, was fermented in large American oak fermenters before being distilled in a pot still made by the esteemed Forsyths of Scotland. This spirit was then aged for 14 years in a single ex-bourbon refill barrel, meticulously monitored to develop complex flavours and a robust character. Bottled by Thompson & Brothers in January 2023 at its natural cask strength of 54.5% ABV, this limited release produced only 314 bottles, each one a testament to the timeless allure of Jamaican rum.
