Overall, the Savanna 2007 Cognac Single Cask #959 11yo is a fantastic and well-balanced Agricole rum. It was highly appreciated at the pre-party to Sweden Rumfest 2023 at Cane Rum Society in Stockholm. The nose is less rounded and more dry, offering light wood, peach, and an intriguing note of glue and nail polish. On the palate, it is quite funky with flavors of wood, dried fruits, and freshly cut grass. The finish is long but not particularly captivating. While it may not be the most indulgent rum, it is a fresh and vegetal Agricole with a distinct character, though some reviewers preferred other offerings from Savanna.
