This rum began its journey in 2014 and underwent a significant maturation process, spending five years aging in ex-bourbon casks in Australia. Following this, it was shipped to Europe, where it enjoyed an additional two-year resting period, culminating in its bottling in 2021. This single cask expression, produced from molasses, presents a unique blend of the tropical climate of Queensland and the refined aging techniques of Europe, resulting in a truly exceptional rum.
