This limited edition rum was distilled in a Charentais still, similar to cognac, and aged for 13 years in a single cask marked BTXCA. The rum was initially aged in a tropical climate until 2016, then transferred to a continental climate until it was bottled in September 2021.
This exceptional rum is the result of the Ten Cane project by LVMH, which only lasted for ten years. Despite its short lifespan, the distillery produced high-quality rum, and many casks were left with negociants. Rom de Luxe, an independent bottler of renown, has since then released some of these casks.
