Aeration further develops these sweet, spicy notes, reminiscent of exotic wood essence, delivering tones of toasted coconut and a slightly grilled character. The rum eventually leans towards a gourmet, pastry-like character.
On the palate, this rum is zesty and fruity, with vibrant notes of orange, lemon tart, melted white chocolate, mango, and cocoa, before developing into nutmeg and oak spice in the finish. Distilled in 2008 in Trinidad using a four-column still, this rum is aged for 11 years in bourbon barrels, followed by 2 years in Ferrand barrels in France.
