This review is based on my second tasting session, and it was an improvement over the first. The nose is vibrant with intense tropical fruit and banana, with a smoky hint. Complexity is evident, with the whiskey notes asserting themselves nicely over time. The palate mirrors the aromatic profile, with a seamless transition from ripe tropical fruit to a nuanced, nutty cereal vibe. In my view, it doesn't taste diluted. The finish is medium, dry, and leans more towards a whiskey-like ending. This rum stands out as a harmonious blend of smoky and fruity elements, making it a delightful addition to any collection.
