Introducing the La Favorite Les Freres De La Cote Navigation 2022 Cuvee #2 Finish Barrel Pineau des Charentes, a unique and exceptional white rum. This rum was carefully selected and tapped in February 2022 from six barrels that previously contained Pineau des Charentes, a fortified wine made from 3/4 grape must and 1/4 Cognac. The barrels were sourced from the Navarre cooperage and were transported by the unpowered vessel Tres Hombres from Martinique to the Saint-Etienne cellar. Here, they underwent a dynamic brewing process at sea for four months, followed by nine months of rest.
Bottled in April 2023, this rum boasts an alcohol content of 54.1% and is presented in a 700ml bottle. As a special offering, each purchase includes a 5cl miniature of the white rum at 55% ABV taken in Martinique before being put into barrels. This allows you to discover the impact of the dynamic brewing process at sea.
