Blindly, I would never have guessed this was from Cuba. It has an absolutely unconventional, super intense note of overripe banana, green fermented grapes, rose, vinegar, a hint of vanilla, and green apple. This could easily be mistaken for a young Jamaican or Fijian rum—truly extraordinary! Overall, it’s a bit too sour and vinegar-heavy for my personal taste, but as a Cuban rum, it’s incredibly unique and something completely different!
