No doubt that this was a Foursquare even with the nice finish they have added. I rested it for 15 minutes after which the alcoholic nose settled for a more fruity one. From nose to finish, it reveals layers of fruits, vanilla, and chocolate. What surprised me is that it's drier than expected, adding an extra dimension to its profile. The absence of the typical sweet coffee notes found in standard Foursquare rums makes this particular bottle stand out. A well-crafted and enjoyable rum that is sure to impress both connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike.
