This exquisite rum embodies a collaboration between Chantal Comte and the renowned naturalist illustrator and researcher Cyril Girard, both passionately committed to the preservation of the Caribbean ecosystems. The production of this rum is limited to 2,500 bottles, and a portion of the profits will be donated to the Caribaea Initiative, an NGO dedicated to the conservation of these precious ecosystems.
Crafted from pure cane juice, this rum is distilled in a Creole column at the esteemed La Mauny distillery. Upon the first sip, it is soft on the palate, gradually revealing a well-worked, rounded rum that has patiently matured. The character of the cane comes through as full-bodied, serious, and mature, with a sweet juice accented by notes of pepper and lime.
