This rum was also part of a memorable journey our Shanghai group undertook on June 17, 2011, to the China Wall Reserve, granting us access to an area typically reserved for locals. It left an indelible impression with its light color, and notes of glue, polish, banana, and light vanilla on the nose. The palate was a delightful mix of light polish, fruity, woody, sweet, and dry elements, with a medium to long finish featuring roasted and dry fruity notes.
