The molasses undergoes fermentation for seven days with oenological yeasts, followed by double distillation in copper Holstein stills.
Part of the rum is macerated with a harmonious blend of spices including tonka beans, cinnamon, and ginger, while another portion is distilled again with green cardamom, orange peel, Sichuan pepper, and cloves. To achieve its signature flavor, macerated toasted coconut and fresh vanilla are mixed into the rum, along with 8 grams per liter of muscovado sugar for a touch of sweetness.
