Fair is the first Fairtrade Certified alcohol brand, which means you can be confident that the farmers and employees involved are being treated fairly in line with worldwide Fairtrade standards. You get to drink great Fairtrade liquor while the farmers receive a fair price, which is one of the most amicable win-win situations you can imagine!

They put forth a lot of effort to find the best Fairtrade ingredients for their liquor, such as natural quinoa from the 3000 m high Altiplano plateau, organic sugarcane cultivated in the Belizean heat, and pure arabica from Mexico, clean juniper berries from Uzbekistan, and so on. These excellent components are then brought to Cognac, where the top master distillers produce the liquor. They preserve French knowledge while further expanding their approaches in pursuit of perfection.

Their mission has led them all over the globe in search of the most incredible ingredients for their premium spirits. They think that everyone participating in the process, at every level, should be addressed equally. They follow roughly 200 standards to ensure that they give producers a fair price. It helps farmers meet their production expenses, support their families, school their children, and build educational facilities.

Fair Rum is made with Fair Trade Certified sugarcane cultivated in Belize, utilizing eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices. After that, it is matured in American oak casks before being transferred to Cognac for bottling. Fair rum has a pleasant scent, spicy flavors, and a lingering finish. It, like most rums, has a massive worldwide presence!

Fair Belize rums are packaged in a tapered-shape bottle identical to Duncan Taylor's and placed in a box. The gold labeling is striking yet straightforward, displaying the rum's origin, ABV, and an allusion to maturing in Bourbon casks.

The rum is light golden in hue, similar to a mild Sherry or white Port. This hue is solely generated from the ex-Bourbon cask aging since there are no added preservatives. The bottom part is thick and rich, and it takes an age for them to descend both walls of the glass. There is an essential molasses fragrance and a hint of caramel.

When you taste this, there is an immediate blast of fire, yet it is not a harsh burn. This is due to having a high alcoholic volume of 50.7%. There's a hint of oak, vanilla, and toffee, but it's not too sugary.

The heat burns down the center and back of your neck, but outstandingly and not harshly. The toffee taste predominates, with soft oak and dry sherry flavors balancing it out. Some tropical fruits, such as pineapple and mango, and delicate seasonings, for example, light pepper, are perceptible. A subtle flavor or even sensation of cocoa or dark chocolate adds depth to an ordinary standard-sized rum.

Fair Belize has a subtle burn at first, blended with burnt oak. There is a slight taste of toffee and molasses, but it is not overpowering.

"Think human, drink fair", a slogan advocating a restoration of human origins to create a fairer and more pleasant drink. Fair is a sophisticated spirit company that unites dedicated individuals whose purpose is to supply high-end spirits fairly and responsibly.

Fair 2017 Muscovado is produced in the Charente area of France, using unprocessed Muscovado sugar from Mauritius to make a flavor-filled spirit with aromas of grass and honey. Muscovado sugar is manufactured in Mauritius from the sugar cane farms of the Saint-Aubin refinery through a refined and artisanal manufacturing process. First, the newly squeezed cane juice is heated to remove the water and retrieve the sugar. This raw sugar has a strong flavor due to its molasses content. It is then transported to Charent and distilled in a micro-distillery (still Stupfler). Consequently, this unique and exciting white rum with crisp, vegetal, and round aromas distinguishes itself from its more typical rivals.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour 50ml rum, 25ml pure lime juice, and 12.5ml sugar syrup to make a traditional Daiquiri. Mix, stir, and serve.

fair-xo-salvador-44-percent-700ml-id-11947

This Fair XO rum comes from El Salvador, Central America's tiniest nation! It is distilled in the Licorera Cihuatan distillery, matured in American oak bourbon casks before packaged in Cognac. The richness given by the barrel makes this an excellent candidate for a vintage rum.

Fair XO Salvador has a tropical, damp woodiness with shrubbery and moss smells. The rum becomes considerably livelier, lighter, and sweeter as it clears. The vanilla and sugar spices provide maturity.

The character shifts to a humid one with minimal air, like a sweltering jungle. A caramel stream rushes through its charming dirt bed while delicious bark drops from its tree.

Caramel dominates the taste with tropical undertones. The potency of the alcohol gets more noticeable the second time, and some hot and peppery banderillas are conveyed. They then revert to a quite powerfully roasted woodiness, taking the shape of more savory spices before becoming milder and more meek, like vanilla. The finish is reasonably dry, having a vanilla bean resting atop an aged wood barrel. This mild rum creates a humid environment that puts you in the tropical region.
